Hamilton P. Bacon

As part of my therapy, I embarked on a creative journey with an art project that brought me joy and relaxation. I discovered the therapeutic benefits of art-making in the Get Crafty section, and I was eager to apply it to my own life.

I'm thrilled to introduce Hamilton, the newest addition to my yard family! My friend in Prescott generously offered Hamilton to me when he couldn't take him along on his move. I saw an opportunity to give Hamilton a fresh new look and eagerly accepted the challenge.

Transforming Hamilton was a 4-day process that required patience and dedication. First, I applied an initial coat of paint, followed by repairs to some cracks and a second coat. Finally, I added the finishing touches - eyes, ears, nose, and feet.

Below, you'll find progress photos of our journey together, from Hamilton's humble beginnings to his vibrant new look. I'm delighted to share this experience with you and hope it inspires you to explore the therapeutic power of art-making in your own life.
